Visa Letter Information

To obtain a visa letter to assist with your visa application so that you can attend IEEE ISPLC 2019, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Have a paper accepted to the IEEE ISPLC 2019
  • Are a tutorial/keynote speaker in the IEEE ISPLC 2019
  • Have registered and paid in full for IEEE ISPLC 2019

Participants of IEEE ISPLC 2019 can request their Visa Assistance Letters through the IEEE ISPLC 2019 registration process or from IEEE Communication Society directly. Please follow the instructions listed in Visa Assistance Request Form.

A valid passport (or an EU national ID) is required to visit the Czech Republic.

An up-to-date list of countries qualified for visa-less visit to the Czech Republic can be found at the website of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. You can also check with the Embassy or Consulate in your country about regulations for your nationality.

Citizens of most EU countries, US, Israel, and some other countries do not need a visa for short-term visits.
